Summer Fresh, Inc.was started by Heiber (Burt) Castro one of the top pool repairmen in all of Florida. Burt began his career working for Blue Dolphin Pools installing fiberglass shells. During his time with Dolphin he learned the ins and outs of installing fiberglass swimming pools. After his stay with Dolphin Burt began working with Fibre Tech building fiberglass and concrete pools. This is where he learned everything there is to know about building swimming pools. After years working with Fibre Tech Burt was recruited to work for The Pool People doing new construction and pool remodels. Burt stayed with the Pool People for around 10 years until he was recruited to be the pool repair specialist for Olympic Pools. After Olympic Burt had an opportunity to work with Goldline and Hayward the top pool equipment manufacturer of advanced pumps, filters, heaters, heat pumps, automatic pool cleaners, lighting, controls and salt chlorine generators. While working for these companies Burt was in charge of equipment repairs in South Florida. He was also responsible for training clients and other employees how to install and repair the equipment. After working with these two companies Burt had learned everything there was to know about the pool service and repair industry and decided to form Summer Fresh.
